How Eagle Soar Gospel Ministries Global collects, uses, protects and shares the personal information you trust to this ministry, in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
Last updated: 11 October 20261. Who we are
This website is operated by Eagle Soar Gospel Ministries Global (“the ministry”), a Christ-centred ministry with campuses in Louisrus, Heidelberg and Ekangala (Gauteng) and Tweeling and Vrede (Free State). For the purposes of this policy, the ministry is the responsible party that determines how your personal information is handled.
2. What information we collect
We only collect the personal information you choose to give us through the website. This may include:
- Your name and contact details (email address, cellphone number) when you submit a prayer request, a ministry enquiry or a join-a-ministry form.
- Your organisation or church name, contribution amount and proof of payment when you partner with the ministry through the Lesedi Mega Crusade portal.
- Technical information generated automatically by the web server (such as your IP address, browser type and pages visited) for security and to keep the site working reliably.
We do not intentionally collect special categories of personal information through this website, and we ask that you do not submit sensitive personal information (for example, health details) unless it is necessary for the prayer or ministry request you are making.
3. How we use your information
Your information is used only for the purpose for which you provided it, including:
- to receive and respond to prayer requests and ministry enquiries;
- to process and record contributions towards the Lesedi Mega Crusade 2026 and to acknowledge those contributions;
- to keep the website secure, operational and well maintained.
We do not sell, rent or trade personal information to any third party, and we do not use it for marketing to which you have not agreed.
4. Why we are allowed to process it
We process your personal information where it is necessary for: the performance of a request you have made to the ministry (such as a prayer or partnership request); the ministry’s legitimate interest in answering enquiries and managing contributions; or your consent, which you give by submitting the relevant form and which you may withdraw at any time.
5. Sharing and third parties
The ministry does not share your personal information with any external organisation for marketing or any other commercial purpose. Your information is handled only by the ministry and by the technical service providers that host and operate this website (including our web hosting provider), who are bound to keep it confidential and secure. Contributions are made directly to the ministry’s own bank account, and the bank processes your details only as required for the transfer you initiate.
6. Storage, retention and security
Your information is stored on secure systems accessible only to authorised ministry and technical personnel, and is protected against loss, unauthorised access, alteration and disclosure using appropriate technical and organisational measures. We keep personal information only for as long as it is needed for the purpose for which it was collected, or as required by law (for example, records relating to financial contributions may be kept for the periods required by applicable tax legislation). We retain no more information than is reasonably necessary.
7. Your rights
In terms of POPIA you have the right to:
- request access to the personal information we hold about you;
- request that incorrect information be corrected;
- object to the processing of your information in certain circumstances;
- withdraw consent you have given where processing is based on consent;
- request that your information be deleted where we no longer have a lawful basis to keep it;
- lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator (South Africa).
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below. We will respond within a reasonable time and in any event within the period required by law.
8. Contacting us

You may also raise a concern directly with the Information Regulator (South Africa) at the contact details published on the Regulator’s official website.
